MY Awsome Hloidays!!!

I woke up with my arms stretched out and feeling good because on the holidays My mum and I are going to the fancy and fun Mini golf on Ulster street.I was excited and because it was my first time going to that one.

First, I got up and got dressed and had pancakes with maple syrup on it and before I knew it I was out the door in the car. We went to rototuna one first but it was packed. So we went to the one in Ulster street it was fine when my mum and I went in we saw some colorful golf balls and plain one. I got to get the striped one and mum got the blue one. When we went outside it was so cool its like it was in your own backyard. We started  at number one then we worked our way through one at a time  the first one was easy the hardest one for me was number 14 . You had to get it through these rock then through a pipe and hit it into the hole. when we got to number 18 the last one it was sort of hard but easy at the same time when I got it in the hole it took my ball. I said to my mum it took my ball. But when we went to the shop I saw my ball that I had and said to my mum that their was a pipe that went through the ground into a bucket  so that was it. I felt happy and hot but I came last  and my mum came first. I felt so happy and proud of my self.

St Pauls Swimming Sports

Arriving at the Ngaruawahia pools, I felt sick with goosebumps on my skin. I saw the water just sitting still waiting for the kids to dive in and make lots of splashes. I heard the loud cicadas and the trees swaying side to side. Today was our school swimming sports day.

Miss Whitfield asked Vanessa to lead us with our prayer so we all said the ‘Glory be to the Father’. After that Miss Whitfield gave instructions, for the students who wanted to do the 100 meter freestyle, through the loudspeakers. So 80% of the students walked over to the blue shaded area. The students all lined up in their age groups. Then the ten year old girls lined up ready for the race to begin.

During the race on the other side of the rest of us are waiting for  our race in the little pool.

Next we had lunch. The Williamson family  and Mr brown provided the sausages and drinks for us. I went to my house and sat down and ate when I sat down I sat in a puddle it was embarrassing.

When we had finished lunch it was the house relays. The fastest people in the house had to compete against every house. No one didn’t chose me. but I didn’t mine. I was cheering on my house saint Anne. My house won I was proud of the people who had won.

I felt tired happy and proud of the students who competed.
